ABOUT THE SERVICE

What is a biomechanical assessment?

Biomechanics is the study of force and motion in the human body. When joint alignment or muscle flexibility is off-balance, extra stress is placed on connective tissues.

This comprehensive assessment looks at your feet, ankles, knees, hips, and lower back while standing, resting, and moving.

Understanding your personal mechanical profile allows us to address the root cause of recurring pain rather than just treating symptoms.

WHEN IT MAY HELP

When might a biomechanical check be helpful?

A biomechanical assessment is valuable for:

  • Persistent heel or plantar fascia pain
  • Collapsed or flat feet causing strain
  • Bunion pain or forefoot joint stiffness
  • Unexplained knee, shin, or hip discomfort when walking
  • Uneven or rapid shoe wear patterns

Identifies structural imbalances early.

Forms the precise clinical foundation for custom orthotics.
